Surprise

A little background :P I hate cooking. In my 27 years of existence, I can count by my hand [k may be toes too] the number of times I turned on the stove. It might be even more shocking if I tell you that  I have lived alone for the last 6 years. I have no idea how I survive but I do LOL.

After my birthday this year I decided that I should at least try this whole cooking thing :P It took me almost a month and a very depressing me to finally start :P I had to get my mind to stop thinking about things and be depressed and decided hey why not!

This is dedicated to IQ since she had attempted to motivate me to cook for 8 years :P.. Cauliflower and tomato curry!

Rant...

Do you feel like some people act as if you are just as not as cool as them? They act like their life takes precedence over yours because you are just a mere mortal over their awesome life?  I have had an unfortunate experience with someone like that in my life. I always knew she considered me to be less than her and yet I  was being a nice friend by ignoring that aspect. Perhaps that was  stupid of me? This person is now getting married and has given me a not pleasant experience with a bridezilla. Now, thanks to this person, I can tell you about my experiences with a bridezilla.

How do you spot a bridezilla?

  •  All they want to talk about is THEIR wedding. Your life does not matter. Your life stops for them because you need to be caring about their wedding.
  • They will text you at 8 in the morning when you are getting ready for work saying that it is an emergency and to call. You call them immediately and they want to talk about how stressful it is to keep the wedding budget at 200k
  • They will not ask you ONCE  about how you are doing. Any communication with you will be about their wedding.
  • It won't be enough that you congratulate  by text even if you are going through a break up and near death in your family.
  • When they tell you that they are upset that you were not excited when they get proposed and you tell them the reasons mentioned above, they start talking about how their life has been crazy planning the wedding.
  • They text you at 4 in the morning to ask you for address to mail wedding invitation.
  • They text you a week later without having any conversation and ask you if you are coming to the wedding.
These experiences gave me a rude awakening. I might not be cool in her eyes or my life might not be important in her eyes. It is my life and it is important to me. There are people in my life who make me believe that my life IS important.
